So, what does it take to have such a versatile suspension? It all starts with having a strong foundation. In this case, the struts: Air Lift uses 30-way adjustable, monotube struts with a serious range of damping adjustment that have been specially tuned to match the air springs. Monotube construction is the preferred choice in racing for its sensitivity to small inputs as well as its ability to shed heat when pushed to the limit. The 30 clicks of adjustment allow the user to dial in preferred handling feel or desired ride quality. The range goes from super stiff to really soft, adjusting rebound and compression together, with proportionally more rebound. The struts also weigh considerably less than the coil spring parts they replace, reducing unsprung weight and improving both ride and handling.

Another notable feature is the presence of adjustable camber plates on all four corners. This allows easy and precise adjustment of camber angle, making quick work of alignments for road or track use. These plates are equipped with high-quality, Japanese-manufactured pillow ball bearings for long life and low noise.

What sets these struts apart from traditional coil setups is the addition of adjustable, progressive-rate air springs. These high-rate springs create a stable platform for aggressive track driving while providing a level of comfort not typically found with lowered suspensions. By maximizing available suspension travel and utilizing the progressive nature of air springs, the vehicle can ride low without a punishing ride. Ride height can be adjusted at the push of a button, eliminating the drawbacks of static suspension. No issues with speed bumps or steep driveways. Raise it to stock height when needed and enjoy added convenience for loading or transport.
